Nov 18, Shaghayegh. You can win has surely been a book that has had an incredible sales record.
It is one among the most popular among the Indian self help book category. What the book contains is a couple of motivational quotes and stories which have been gathered here. The book has nothing kkhera to offer its readers other than a couple of stale stories. But if you are new to reading and are looking for a simple self help book that could be easily understood, you can pick this up.
It’s good self motivational book. But too idealistic I would say, not that applicable in life. But you can read it one time. This was the first book which I read when I started my journey of reading and the book had all the attributes which could inculcate and further enhance in me the reading desire.
Of course it does give the message that winning doesn’t come by chance and its the outcome of certain values and habits that we display. The best part was the display of the message through khfra and short stories. This book could be called as a dictionary for the ones who want to live a good peaceful happy satisfied successful life with good values. Interesting part is, it has small value stories in each chapters which makes the values a stranger connection with our heart.
One down point about the book is, it has lots and lots of information which makes it more clumsy. This book is for those who don’t know how to deal with life. It’s nothing more than what primary teachers teach. Only if people listened to their teachers and parents they would understand how to compete in life. This book is the culmination of stories which our khear, teachers and other sources tell kheda.

Jeet Aapki by Shiv Khera (3 star ratings)
It was one of first few books i read almost 15 years back and it helped cope with lots of challenges. It’s a great motivational book.
Attitude chapter – excellent. It is quite a decent book. But I still don’t know whether the content of the book is original or not because I have listened the same content in the seminars of led brown and Jim rohn ,so. The good thing about this book is that it uses poem and short stories to deliver message and to understand the importance of values.
The stories of successful people have been wisely included and with a good timing with the paragraph. This book will help u out. U must not nly read it but absorb it step by step. All d bst guys. A step by step guide to success but I think it is missing something. May be when you read other motivational authors you will find the same thing. So, sometimes it feels distracted whom to read.
This book by Shiv Khera is based on fact but lacking of narration style as far as i can think. Got this book as a gift.
It is overrated book I guess. The book tried to cover so many aspects but it lacked to convey the context. A book on attitude! How to act, how to think positive and all other essentials for a decent do-today life. I would recommend this book to anybody aged between 13 to Good book to keep yourself motivated in any situation specially in bad.
Things which we already know explained systematically with short short stories. Stories in between are quite impressive, Sometimes become little theoretical. Overall a decent read. I found many practices very helpful. Self help book with lot of ideas to adopt in life. A book illustrating the dos and don’ts to effectively nurture qualities to develop strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Shuv is quite different from other motivational books though some parts tend to put across a repetitive notion. The bottom line for books of this genre is: Practice what is read else it is a total waste of time. Good read for people looking to implement self improvement methodologies. This book is mostly based on “How to motivate yourself” and “Ways to live a successful life”.
