I love Cayherine Greenman, and I look forward to more books and works by her. As much as Thea tries at times, she cannot romanticize the idea, especially when her boyfriend Will makes it where she can’t stay with him for a while.

So naturally I couldn’t wait to read this book. Will was just kind of meh, for me. Thea Galehouse has always known how to take care of herself. If you’re looking for a decent contemporary that isn’t really deep but isn’t overly-light either, Hooked is the way to go.

So very often the young men who father these babies do not stick around to live up to their responsibilities. When a freak accident with the baby pushes Will farther away from Thea and he decides he can’t do it anymore Thea is on her own to care for their son with one person to turn to, her stiff, uptight father.

No, it wasn’t perfect. I actually thought about not finishing it a few times, but the book itself wasn’t necessarily bad, so I figured that one day I would hooekd back to it.

She’s a strong woman with a good head on her shoulders. Will was dreamy at first and then gave a real picture of what happens a lot when a girl gets pregnant and there is a child brought into that relationship at such a young age. But that was not Thea at all. She worries that she loves will more than he loves her, thus he has the power in the greeman.

That is until she meets Will.
